About the JHA RDA Web Service

The RDA Web Service exposes a set of API’s for the RDA product that enables an easy integration for a smooth remote deposit capture workflow from within your mobile application. Following are the features that are available through the RDA API’s.

List of features

  • Display Limits and Counts - This feature allows an FI to display to the user what their velocity limits are and their current usage under those limits.
  • Terms and Conditions - This feature lets the FI set their own verbiage for terms of using RDA that the user must accept before continuing. Note this is controlled by the FI in the SPM portal.
  • Multi Item Batches - This feature allows the bundling of multiple check items in one batch for a single deposit.
  • Display Deposit History - This feature displays previous deposit history for the user with item and status information.
  • User Batch Management - This feature determines if the user has full control over when batches are created, submitted, or deleted. This should be used in conjunction with Multi Item Batches and not typically used with single item batches.
  • Misnap - A check image capturing SDK developed by our business partner Mitek that will auto capture quality images for mobile processing.
  • Soap or JSON - The requests can be passed to our web service in either Soap or JSON format.
  • Geolocation - Not used at this time but a value can be passed and stored.
  • Display Images - This feature allows the images associated with a deposit to be retrieved.
  • Memo Field - This feature allows an end user to add a custom note or description with their deposit that can be reported on.
