Introduction
The purpose of this document is to provide our customers with an introduction to the Riskforce application programming interface (API) operational process, which includes an efficient method of loading your customers and data into our processing system.
Riskforce is comprised of two sections: New Customer Applications and Account Maintenance requests. We also offer a series of GET functions to assist users with obtaining data. Both sections have a user interface portal for quick and easy access that can be used for validating calls.
Recognizing that we have two distinct systems is an important concept to understand when developing your API calls as they have two purposes for making requests.
ProfitStars uses Representational State Transfer (REST) development coding style to make simple HTTPS requests to the server. These APIs will support REST calls—JavaScript® Object Notation (JSON) or Extensible Markup Language (XML).
Riskforce API Certification
In order to ensure proper development and testing is completed and that all required API calls are included in the effort, the EPS Risk Management & Technology team will provide to the partner a set of API Certification checklists to complete during implementation.
