Certification Process Guide

Introduction

The EPS certification process is a simple and straight forward process consisting of customized tests directed by one of our knowledgeable Technical Support Engineers (TSE) based on your unique workflow. Using their experience and expertise our TSEs will focus on the most meaningful tests to ensure the quality of your integration in the quickest time possible.

Certifications into production are scheduled by request so we will only begin the process when you are ready. Below are the details of our certification process to give you an overview of what to expect when you contact us, what we will need, and how to begin. Certifications will generally take about a week to complete.

Getting Started

Before requesting a certification, you will need to make sure you have the following items.

  • A detailed workflow showing all web methods being leveraged in your code through either a written step by step or visual diagram.
  • The specific Web Service endpoints you have coded to with the features of each you are using.
  • A brief write-up of your specific business use case.
  • Certification request form filled out with the information listed above. The form can be found in the downloads section.
  • Ability to provide a demo app and login credentials to EPS for certification testing.

Once you are ready to begin certification, contact us to request a certification into production and provide your filled-out certification request form. One of our TSEs will contact you with further instructions and work with you to complete the certification.

Certification Process

Certification requests will be responded to in a first come first served basis by one of our available TSEs to facilitate certifying your integration for production use. The steps below provide an outline on what to expect throughout the process.

  • You will receive a response from a TSE to confirm the details of your certification request and if further clarification or items are needed in order to proceed, the TSE will ask for those at this time.
  • The TSE will build a customized testing plan based upon the information provided about your integration and provide next steps for completing the testing.
  • You will provide the TSE with your app to demo with login credentials. The TSE will complete the customized testing plan and then return the results of the completed tests.
    • If you are not able to provide an app and credentials to the TSE for testing, then you will be asked to perform the tests and provide details for the TSE to review for success and completeness.
    • If any testing scenarios fail, the TSE will send the findings back with notes as to why and what changes are needed to correct the issue.
    • When the issues have been corrected, the TSE will retest until all items have passed.
  • Once all workflows and testing scenarios have been validated and have passed, the TSE will send an API certification letter with details of what was tested and the results.
  • At this point the integration will be considered complete and the TSE will hand you back over to your implementation coordinator for any final installation tasks and to obtain your production credentials.
