About the JHA mRDC Web Service

The mRDC Web Service exposes a set of API’s for the mRDC product that enables an easy integration for a smooth remote deposit capture workflow from within your mobile application. Following are the features that are available through the mRDC API’s.

  • Multi Item Batches - This feature allows the bundling of multiple check items in one batch for a single deposit.
  • Display Deposit History - This feature displays previous deposit history for the user with item and status information.
  • Display Images - This feature adds the ability to view front and back check images along with the deposit history.
  • Data Entry - This feature gives a user the ability to enter extra transaction information with the check for reporting purposes. Note the enabling of Data Entry fields are controlled from the SPM portal.
  • Custom Batch ID - This feature gives the user a field where they can enter a custom description of the batch for their reporting. Note the enabling of this field is controlled from the SPM portal.
  • Geo Location - Not used at this time but a value can be passed and stored.
  • Associate Customer - This feature will allow a user to associate information about the check writer (Customer) to the deposit.
  • Soap or JSON - The requests can be passed to our web service in either Soap or JSON format.
  • Misnap - A check image capturing SDK developed by our business partner Mitek that will auto capture quality images for mobile processing.
  • Create Customer - This feature allows the creation of a new customer to associate with the deposit.
