Real-time Posting: Memo Post

Supporting only the Deposit Submitted alert event type is the simplest workflow from a design standpoint and can have a significant operational impact to the Financial Institution depending on your solution supporting Memo or Hard posting as touched on in section Smart Alerts API for Real-time Posting.

If supporting Memo posting, this workflow is our recommended approach as it is the easiest design and minimizes the operational impact to the Financial Institution as there is generally less concern in resolving exceptions (see section Exception Handling) since the deposit will Hard post with the posting file.
